Cleansing Techniques

षट्क्रिया

Shat (six) - Kriya (cleaning process)

The purpose of this practices is to attain physical and mental purification and balance.

These practices will aid the practitioner to successfully progress along the spiritual path.

  • Neti (cleansing of the nasal passages)

  • Dhauti (cleansing of the entire alimentary canal, from the mouth to the anus)

  • Nauli (massaging and strengthening the abdominal organs)

  • Basti (washing and toning the large intestine)

  • Kapalbhati (breathing technique to purify the frontal region of the brain)

  • Trataka (intense gazing at an object to improve concentration)


反射疗法

fǎn shè liáo fǎ

Known as 'reflexology' in the western world, is an ancient Chinese technique that awakens the body's self healing mechanisms by applying pressure in specific parts of the body, mainly in the feet and hands.


It is one of the safest and least invasive self healing practices and the application and effect of the therapy are unique for each individual.


temāzcalli

temāz (sweat) + calli (house)

More widely known as 'temazcal' is a purification technique that allows the body to release toxins through sweating and the use of a mixture of medicinal herbs.
